Josephus was a Jewish historian who lived at the time of the churban Beis Hamikdash Hasheini. In his books, he describes the Beis Hamikdash according to his memories of it. Although in general his description is mostly accurate, he estimated all the numbers of the measurements, so they are usually exaggerated.
